Qualifications

I am a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society and the Genealogical Society of Vermont. I have experience with New England historical and genealogy research and completed a class on library references.

Services

I research New England census records, local history sources, military records, local newspapers and vital records. I also search Vermont directories, as well as others if available.

My special focus is New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont, but I can conduct research on all of the New England states.

Most of my research is done at home on the Internet or at nearby genealogy libraries.

I am glad to take on small as well as large projects.

I am interested in the local history and family biographies as well as basic records.

Fees

I charge $14 per hour for research time, as well as fees for expenses such as microfilm rentals, phone calls, etc.

I will usually send a bill after the first two hours of work. Then, if you wish for further work, I will send a bill monthly until the research is complete.

You may tell me the maximum amount that you wish to pay for the project.
