Qualifications

I am a freelance professional genealogist and author of 'Tracing Your Family History', published by Collins in 2004 (revised edition 2005) 'Tracing Your Home's History' (Collins, 2006), 'Full of Soup and Gold: the Life of Henry Jermyn' (published by myself, 2006) and 'Need to Know: Tracing Your Family History' (Collins, April 2007). I have been resident genealogist and co-presenter for Channel 4's 'Extraordinary Ancestors'; Living TV's 'Antiques Ghostshow'; Radio 4's 'Meet the Descendants' and BBC1's 'Gene Detectives'. I am resident genealogist and contributor for and www.GenesReunited.co.uk. I have been a professional genealogist for almost 20 years.

I provide a comprehensive genealogical research service through a network of qualified researchers throughout the British Isles and beyond. I can undertake small individual searches, or help you over specific problems, or handle the whole work of planning, implementing and reporting research. I can write up family histories and family trees, investigate surname origins and look into all matters relating to heraldry and house histories. What ever your genealogical needs, I have the experience and enthusiasm to meet them. I can also advise on DNA tests for genealogy, heraldry, and adoption searches.
