Qualifications
Whilst researching my own family history I discovered that the majority of
my ancestors seldom ventured outside the South East of England. My research
therefore mainly focussed upon London and the southern counties of Kent and
Sussex. Consequently, over the years I gradually gained a considerable
in-depth knowledge of the area and what it's many local and national record
offices/archives have to offer the family historian.
What started off as a part time hobby many years ago gradually expanded into
a full time profession which, with the collaboration of a number of other,
similarly qualified, researchers from other parts of the country, eventually
led to the creation of Family Matters Research - a friendly and efficient
organisation providing a family history research service throughout England.
Services
Family Matters Research provides the family historian with a comprehensive
range of services which can be tailored to suit individual needs in a cost
effective manner. Whilst essentially remaining a small family-run
organisation, with the assistance of our fellow, locally based, researchers,
we are able to visit all main local/national repositories on a regular basis
and, with the benefit of our local knowledge, are able to fulfil research
objectives, both quickly and efficiently. We welcome and value all
enquiries and are always happy to provide free, detailed evaluations/advice
on request.
Fees
Our competitively priced fees commence at just £5 and are individually
calculated to reflect specific requirements. For full details and for
further information concerning the various services which we provide please
visit our website or contact us direct to obtain a copy of our informative leaflet.
