Qualifications:

I have over 25 years researching my own family and for others in most states east of the Mississippi River. References are available upon request.

Services:

I specialize in U.S.A. genealogy and do most research via the computer. However, field trips to nearby libraries, courthouses and cemeteries are available.

Areas of research include marriage and death records, cemetery inscriptions, census records 1790-1930, local history, land records, newspapers, obituaries, pension applications, probate records, and tombstone photography.

Will provide research reports, family group sheets, pedigree charts, ancestral or descendant genealogy reports

Fees:

• Regular hourly rate $25/hour
• Additional fees are billed at cost, such as: tolls, long copying costs, postage, certificate and document fees
• Large projects welcomed
• Smaller requests performed quickly and efficiently
• Expenses include, but are not limited to, parking, tolls, admission fees, photocopies, fax charges, postage, long distance telephone charges, overnight hotel charges when required, certificate and document fees, mileage
• Travel costs to various cities available upon request
• If overnight travel is necessary, charges will include the mileage, actual cost of room, plus other charges for travel, research and expenses.
• Hourly fee includes organization of a professionally prepared client report. This report will contain a list of repositories searched, results obtained, copies of documents and suggestions for future research strategies with estimated costs for such research.
