With so many genealogy web pages and resources on the the internet, it's sometimes hard to know where to start. What should you use and what should you check first? Well, there are several sites which and provide you with with quick and easy answers.

There are also many other types of Internet resources, covering all types of subjects and content. Most genealogy research sites fall into two categories, tools and databases.
Databases
These sites provide deailed records such as vital statistics, census records, land records, passenger lists, military records, etc. They can be broad in scope, or provide information that is highly speciliazted and related to a narrow field.
Tools
There are thousands of small tools out there that can assist you in finding specific bits of information, or in making your family history search easier.
