Qualifications:

The office "Genealogy and History in France" is based in Metropolitan France. We work in all services of Archives of France, from the National Archives and National Library to the local libraries and city halls of the country, including archives of the ex-French colonies.

Philippe Chapelin is:

• Genealogist since 1981
• Master's degree and DEA (Mastaire) in history, specialized in the XVIII th c. regional history and of the French Revolution history.
• Published several works about genealogy and local history.
• Editor-in-chief of a quarterly in local history in the 80's and 90's.
• President of the "Chambre syndicale des généalogistes et Historiens".

We are providing a complete solution for your genealogy, history or biography searches (e.g. complete, agnatic or partial family tree, localization of families, study of a surname, search of documents).
