Based in the Washington, D.C. area, Lineage Locators researchers have been conducting research for over 15 years at some of the best research repositories in the United States. These include the National Archives Headquarters, the Library of Congress, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Library, and the Family History Library of the Mormon Church (Church of the Latter Day Saints). Since Lineage Locators is based in the Washington, D.C. area, we can instantly obtain important and rare genealogical information. Other genealogy services either don't have access to this information or have to order the microfilms and wait several weeks for delivery. This causes a delay in obtaining the results and adds extra fees to the customer's bill. By using Lineage Locators services, we can obtain the information immediately without charging the customer extra fees.

We obtain copies of pertinent genealogy records from the National Archives Headquarters, Library of Congress, DAR Library, the Family History Library of the Mormon Church, and many other locations. We also can review hard-to-find books, manuscripts, maps and other documents that are only located in Washington, D.C. repositories, and provide you with photocopies or abstracts of the pertinent information. We can conduct specific research at your direction, or we can provide guidance and make suggestions for appropriate research. Either way, Lineage Locators is at your service!

Fees

Lineage Locators charges $30 per hour for research and requires a three-hour minimum for all research requests. Any fees associated with the research, such as postage, document copies, vital records, or other similar documents, will be charged to the client.
