My skills in palaeography (reading old handwriting) enable me to carry out research in pre-1700 records and I offer a transcription service for old Scottish and English documents. This service is designed specifically for genealogists and the old documents used in family history research including parish records, wills, testaments and deeds. I am also an experienced heir- and descendant-tracer and have successfully located heirs to estates on behalf of probate research firms in the UK, Europe and the US and enabled private clients to reconnect with long-lost cousins. Research Fee: £22 (GBP) per hour Transcription ServiceAs each document is unique it is impossible to set a standard price.
