In my studies, I have undertaken several history research projects. These studied such topics as:
- Heritage Precincts, with a case study of Turton Street, Guildford, for the Heritage Council.
- Afghan Cameleers of the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
- History of the township of Kookynie, also in the Eastern Goldfields.
- History of the Western Australian Railway Institute.
I also completed a history unit with BYU university that taught the standards of professional genealogy.
I have about 18 years experience with family history research, mainly in Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria, and England and Scotland.

Services:
I have easy access to the vast resources of the State Library. This includes:
- The Genealogy Centre, with information from around the world.
- The J.S. Battye Library of West Australian History, which includes private archives, Western Australian newspapers, oral histories, photographs and maps
- The State Records Office, for Western Australian official records from after about 1901.
- I also use the extensive holdings of the Western Australian Genealogical Society (WAGS).
- I also provide the service of researching your home.
Fee Information:
- I charge $35.00 per hour for any work undertaken, with a minimum of 2 hours. I also ask for an initial expense account of $50.00 which covers such things as ordering films and certificates, photocopying, phone calls etc. Therefore, the minimum start up price of a research assignment will be $120.00
