Susan has twenty years experience in Genealogical Research. She has specialized in the civil and ecclesiastical records of the Basque Country for fifteen of those years. She is an honors graduate of the University of Utah in Spanish Language and Literature and is the author of several "how-to" publications in Genealogy, including the instructional video: Who Were They, Heroes or Horse Thieves?Research is performed at the Family History Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake City Utah. She also maintains access to several Internet Genealogical Resources, and will pursue other resources as it becomes necessary, at the request of the client.
Fernando is a Graphic Designer by trade, he has a degree in Art from Spain as well as an additional degree in Computer Graphics earned in the United States. He began his interest in Genealogy while supporting Susan in her efforts to make their personal Family Tree "grow". Soon he decided he just couldn't sit by and watch and he began to develop an interest in Heraldry and its history. Now he enjoys developing and designing replicas of Coats of Arms for those interested in a connection with the past in a visually artistic medium. Fernando has an extensive collection of Spanish and Basque surnames, their origins, meanings and descriptions of heraldic symbols.
Susan & Fernando's personal family tree has about 42,000 members. This is available on the RootsWeb World Connect Project. You can get to their database by clicking on the link at our personal web page:
